Collaborative palletizing robot CoPal AV20

The collaborative palletizing robot CoPal AV20 presented by Paal A+V in cooperation with Estun and Botfellow at the Fachpack trade fair in Nuremberg, attracted a great deal of interest at the show.

The focus was on pallet heights of up to 1930 mm (CoPal AV20 fix) and 2430 mm (CoPal AV20 flex), quick assembly and the innovative safety system with seamless human-robot collaboration.

Even though collaborative robots do not generally require a safety zone, more and more customers are starting to use safety systems, especially for robot activities in the head area.

The dynamic virtual safety solution of the CoPal AV20 does not require a protective fence. Humans and robots can work in the same workspace. Advanced sensor technology and a new motion control technology ensure true collaborative working.
